This week is all about creating a fitness business 😎
On Monday, Liam shared his experiences and knowledge when it comes to creating more time for yourself and making sure you earn the money you desire
Today though we’re looking at 5 things you need to consider when it comes to creating your perfect fitness business ⬇️
1️⃣ How much do you want to earn?
Before you do anything else is, you need to figure out how much it is you want to earn as a fitness business owner
There is no point setting a studio up, a bootcamp, a PT programme if you’re unsure what you want to earn
If you just wanted a real simple PT job you would go and work for someone else
If you want to create your own business thats special and unique to you, you need to figure out what your salary should be 💴
Once you know that number, you can work on these next 4 steps
2️⃣ How many hours will you work?
Now we know what we need to earn, we need to consider the amount of hours we will work
If you just wanted to work for someone else you could work for 40 hours and forget everything else when you get home 🧐
But when you decide to work for yourself, it all changes
You end up working way way more hours 😓
But that isnt the case if you control the hours you work
Set some rules 😎
If you only want to coach 5 sessions a day, stick with it
Don’t let clients dictate to you what they want
You work the hours you want to work – if that works for you
3️⃣ What type of business do you want to run?
We now need to figure out the type of business you want to run
121, small group PT, larger group pt, bootcamps?
Do any of these approaches facilitate the hours you want to work for the money you want to earn?
Think it through. What do you enjoy? And what will work for you?
4️⃣ How many clients do you need?
Its time to look at how you will get to the number of clients you need
Bring staff in, and it will relieve you of precious time ⏰
Whether its admin, sales, pt
These roles take time and paying someone else to do it for you
Will allow you more time to move your business forward 😁
5️⃣ Systems & automations
If you can get these in place, this could rule out needing an extra staff full-time
The systems and automations will do the work for you 💪
Then you can just hire someone part-time ➡️
If you set everyone up on monthly payments automatically taken, it will save you time chasing that money
Got a new client? set up an email series that walks them through the process saving you time on updating them yourself
So, try to look at time-saving systems and automations
And you will free up your time and save some money paying an extra member of staff too
