4 Key Elements to Keeping Clients
This week is all about getting your programme sorted so you can keep your clients long-term
We started with Ash on Monday who shared his thoughts and ideas on what goes into a successful programme
You see…he does this for clients all over the world!
Today I’m sharing 4 things that go into our programme that makes it so successful
Support – the reason a client comes to you is because they need extra help!
They don’t want to just follow an online programme, a random youtube video
They want a professional, an expert that they can communicate with
Support is KEY
Sometimes you have to go that extra mile
Whether that’s a message in the evening or extra nutrition support
Community
You can see in Crossfit, massive community is successful
Same goes for Slimming World
So how can we create more a community to keep clients engaged?
We do events in the gym and out of the gym
Remember, a lot of them may not have additional friends and family to spend time with
So organise bowling trips, meals out
Help them to feel confident and part of the community
And they will stay long-term
Professional
This can be in so many ways
Make sure you dress like a PT – you don’t need to be in great shape
They just need to look up to you, people need to be able to approach you
Plus, turning up on time makes a huge difference
Be 15, 20 minutes early to chat with them and lead by example
This way, they know you are serious about your business and getting them results
Caring
This by far is the most important of all
And it sort of includes all of the points above
These people are paying you
You dont have to go and work a 9-5 job for someone else
No late night shifts
You are doing the job you love – and people are paying you for the results you promised you would get them
If they need an extra push – show them that’s ok
If they appreciate a message at 9pm – message them!
Showing them you care will definitely mean they stay with you for longer
This doesn’t cost loads of money
Just giving up a few moments of your time to show them you care
So those are 4 things I think go into running a great programme and keep those clients staying longer
